Co2: Summit on the Slopes

This year’s Summit is now completely sold out. Please email [email protected] to be added to our waiting list.

gasworld hosted its first ever CO2 Summit in March 2017, the emphasis was on bridging the supply gap, with some regions like the US expected to experience significant supply-demand imbalance in the years ahead as end-user applications continue to grow.

Two years on, Supply has become a significant issue, not only in Europe but also across other regions in the world.  The summer of 2018 will be remembered for the “CO2 crisis” in Europe and Mexico, but there were significant concerns in the US as well.

gasworld returns to Austria to raise and debate the concerns and interest in CO2 – choosing the wonderful and highly praised Interalpen Hotel again for such a gathering.  The need for discussion on future sourcing is arguably more pressing than ever before. After the European CO2 supply shortage, that not only caught the attention of main stream media and concerned end-users and distributors, but also highlighted the inherent fragilities in the supply chain and asked questions of on how to avoid this happening in future.

At the same time, the manufacturing industry, as a whole, is in the spotlight to reduce carbon emissions and are looking at a wide variety of approaches for doing this – some obvious, some expensive and some less understood.  Is our industry leading these initiatives or following? – Is another reason for debate.

The 2019 CO2 Summit will also continue to explore the new, the trending and the traditional applications which are driving demand.  Experts from a variety of companies will be on hand to present and speak on such applications and technologies – either in the summit or during the booth programme.

The event, held from 12-13 March 2019, will provide invaluable networking opportunities between gas suppliers, end-users and equipment innovators alike.
