Matthieu Giard is currently responsible for Air Liquide’s activities in Africa, Middle East and India, and is based at the corporate hub office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He oversees all Air Liquide operations for over 30 countries throughout the region. He is also a director of Air Liquide Eastern Europe board.

Matthieu joined Air Liquide more than 10 years ago. During his career, he has held various Executive positions of increasing responsibilities, throughout different geographies (Europe, US, Canada, Africa and Middle East) and covering all of Air Liquide’s business lines: Large Industries, Industrial Merchant, Electronics, and Healthcare.

He graduated from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA, France) as Mechanical Engineer, and completed an Executive Management Program at the London Business School. Matthieu is also advisor at the Comité National des Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France (CNCCEF), an association of international managers appointed by the French Ministry of Foreign Trade.
