Maura D. Garvey is President of Intelligas Consulting LLC, the premier consulting firm dedicated to servicing the needs of the U.S. and international industrial, medical, and specialty gases community, together with US and international technology companies which design/build production, distribution, and applications systems to service the industrial gases business. She continues to support J.R. Campbell & Assoc., Inc. (JRCI), the firm she was with the firm for 25 years and has been significantly involved in all helium studies.

The firm has performed a significant number of helium studies analyzing and forecasting US and Global supply/demand, supply chain economics including cost/price, sourcing strategies, and player strategies, as well as those on helium production, distribution, and applications.

Garvey is a member of the gasworld US Edition editorial advisory board and a feature writer on industrial gases for gasworld US Edition, formerly Cryogas International, and has written over 100 articles since 1998, including yearly updates on the global helium market.

Prior to Intelligas Consulting LLC and JRCI, Garvey was an independent consultant providing quantitative and qualitative market research. Before that, she held positions with ARINC Research Corporation and The MITRE Corporation providing cost and operational effectiveness analyses on engineering systems for government sector clients.

Garvey has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with a Minor in Economics from Bates College and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University.
