Mike joined Gulf Cryo early in 2016 bringing over 30 years of experience in the Industrial and Medical gas business. His career with BOC, which is part of Linde Group, started with a number of commercial and operational roles before he moved into his first general management position in 1995 based in Hong Kong and Southern China. Within 12 years working in Asia, Mike held a number of P&L responsible roles concluding with leading the group Packaged Gases business across the continent. He also had Regional functional roles leading Supply Management and SHEQ. During this period, BOC achieved annual double digit revenue and OP growth and established leading SHEQ performance across the Group. Before joining GC, his most recent position as Regional Business Unit Head included full P&L responsibility for the Linde businesses in the UK, Ireland and Southern Africa, and Chairman of AFROX. In this role, he led the AFROX turnaround and achieved margins, growth and OP significantly above the Group average.
